Our Mission
At Beacon -Be the One to Light the Way, our mission is to provide necessities to individuals with housing or food insecurities. We achieve this goal through personal donations and company grants by utilizing funds to purchase and deliver items to those in need.
Our Drives
From non-perishables to hygiene products and more, we conduct multiple donation drives a year to collect necessities for those in need. We then organize and deliver the items to the individuals directly.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We offer a variety of opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
At our most recent event, 12 amazing volunteers delivered just under 2,000 necessities totaling $4,500 for 250 men, women, and children living at Pu'uhonua o Wai'anae, the largest houseless encampment in the state of Hawaii.
